Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about plans, songs, instruments, and how CueWee works.

Is there an Android or iOS app?

We’re wrapping up publication on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The apps will be available soon. For now, you can use CueWee directly from your browser at studio.cuewee.app, including on mobile.

Is there an annual plan, or only monthly?

For now, we only offer the monthly plan. We’re considering a discounted annual plan in the future.

Can I cancel any time without being charged?

Yes. You can cancel whenever you want, right from the app under Manage Subscription. The plan stays active until the end of the current monthly cycle and is not renewed for the next cycle.

Do unused songs roll over to the next month?

No. The number of songs is the limit you can process within the month, and it varies by plan. Unused songs do not roll over to the following month.

Do I lose my songs if I cancel my subscription?

Not immediately. We guarantee that your songs stay saved for up to 90 days after cancellation — this period is a courtesy and may be changed at any time. For users with an active subscription, songs remain available.

The only guaranteed way to keep your songs is to keep your subscription active.

Can I have more than one user on the same account?

CueWee subscriptions are individual. You can share your songs with other people (up to 5 users on the Pro plan and 15 on Pro Plus), but each person needs to create their own account. The person who receives the share doesn’t need a subscription to view and play the shared song.

How does the free trial work?

Every new account gets 5 free songs to process in Starter plan mode. We don’t ask for a credit card for the trial — just create the account and upload your songs.

Which instruments can I separate on each plan?

  • Starter: the 5 base instruments — Vocals, Drums, Bass, Guitars, and Piano.
  • Pro and Pro Plus: all instruments available on the platform (advanced vocals, percussion, winds, strings, synthesizers, crowd on live recordings, and more).

See the full list in Tracks and Mix.

What happens to my songs if you change the available instruments?

Songs that have already been processed keep the instruments they were processed with, even if the available instrument list changes in the future. Additions and removals of models only affect new processing.

Does extending stems consume songs from my limit?

No. Adding more instruments to a song that has already been processed (Extend Stems, available on the Pro and Pro Plus plans) does not consume additional songs from your monthly limit.

See the walkthrough in How to extend stems.

Can I get a refund?

As a general rule, we do not guarantee refunds for fees already paid. Each case is reviewed individually depending on the state of the billing cycle:

  • Closed cycles: not refundable, regardless of usage.
  • Ongoing cycle: depends on your account usage within the cycle — may be a full, partial, or no refund, at CueWee’s discretion.

If you believe you’re entitled to a refund (duplicate charge, service failure, unresolved technical issue, or other exceptional situation), please contact contact@cuewee.app describing your situation. We respond during business hours.

⚠️ Before requesting a refund or opening a dispute with your card issuer, talk to us first. If you file a chargeback, bank dispute, or any other claim through banking channels — instead of contacting our support directly — your account will be immediately banned and your data deleted right away, with no grace period. See the details in Terms of Service §5.7.

Where can I find support?

For any question that isn’t covered here, write to contact@cuewee.app. We respond during business hours (UTC-3, Brasília).
