Tracks and mix
CueWee builds a flexible mixing session for bands to rehearse with, program in-ears, or take tracks to the stage. Every song is split into individual stems, with click track and voice guide generated automatically.
Base instruments (all plans)
Every processed song includes the 5 base instruments:
- Vocals — lead voice
- Drums — full kit
- Bass — bass instruments
- Guitars — electric and acoustic guitars
- Piano — piano and keyboards
These 5 stems are available in every plan, including the free trial and Starter.
More instruments (Pro)
The Pro plan unlocks all instruments available on the platform. Depending on the song, you can separate:
- Vocals: lead vocal + backing, male/female vocal, multi-singer, choir, SATB choir, crowd
- Drums: full kit or 5 tracks (kick, snare, toms, hi-hat, cymbals)
- Guitars: electric/acoustic guitars, lead/rhythm
- Piano: acoustic or digital
- Keys: synthesizer, organ, accordion
- Strings: violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp
- Winds: saxophone, flute, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, and more
- Percussion: congas, timpani, tambourine, bells, and others
- FX, synthesizers, and effects
The instrument list may change — we may add new separation models or remove rarely used models at CueWee’s discretion. Songs that have already been processed keep the instruments they were processed with, regardless of changes to the list.

Click track (all plans)
- Created automatically with subdivisions and counts.
- Locked to the generated tempo map (including ritardandos or accelerations).
- Export with or without downbeat accents.
- Send it to the drummer’s mix, or keep it only at the front-of-house desk — whichever suits your setup.
Voice guide (all plans)
- A natural voice announces sections (intro, verse, chorus, bridge, solo).
- Optional countdowns for important transitions.
- Available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Send it to its own channel or mix it together with the click.
You can also record your own spoken guides for any part of the song. See How to create your custom guide.
Section and tempo editing
Each song can be adjusted after processing:
- Edit sections on the guide track — split, delete, add a pre-count
- Edit tempo — change the BPM at any point in the song, change the time signature
Live recordings (Pro)
- Live recording (Auto mode) — extracts crowd noise into its own stem.
- Useful for live show recordings where you want to separate the audience from the band.
- Turn on Live recording when you upload the song.
Processing and export
- All the processing happens on CueWee’s servers — no DAW required.
- Download stems in WAV (no quality loss) or MP3.
- Export modes: mixdown, L/R export (click and guide on the left, tracks on the right), or individual stems in a ZIP.
- Unlimited re-downloads at no extra cost.
