Manage your account
Your profile, how you sign in, your storage, and your language all live on the Preferences page.
To open it:
- Web and desktop: click your avatar in the top right, then Preferences.
- Mobile apps: tap Preferences, the third tab in the bottom bar.
Your profile
The Account card shows your name, your email address, and your plan. Click the pencil icon to open the edit dialog, where you can:
- Change your display name
- Set a profile photo. Pick an image, then drag it and use the zoom slider to frame it inside the circle. On the mobile apps this opens your photo library directly.
Sign-in methods
The Sign-in methods card lists every way you can get into your account, and lets you add or remove them. Your songs, playlists, and plan belong to the account itself, so nothing here affects them.
Email and password
The row shows your address, or Password not set if you have only ever signed in with Google or Apple.
- Add password sets one for your current address, so you can sign in with either.
- Change password asks for your current password, then the new one.
- Change email appears once you have a password. See below.
Google and Apple
- Add connects the provider to your account. On the desktop app this says Continue in browser and finishes there.
- Disconnect removes it. You can connect it again later.
- Apple appears on the iOS app, and on any account that already has it connected.
You cannot remove your last remaining sign-in method, so there is always at least one way in. Add another one first, then remove the one you no longer want.
Change your email address
Open Preferences → Sign-in methods → Change email, type the new address, and send the confirmation. We email a link to the new address: open it from that inbox to finish.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nothing changes until you open that link. If the address had a typo, send it again to the right one.
- You keep the same account. Your songs, playlists, plan, and history all stay exactly where they are.
- You may need to sign in again afterwards, with your new address.
- If you also sign in with Google or Apple, those keep using their own addresses. Changing your CueWee address does not change them.
The option appears only once you have a password, because without one your address is not what you sign in with.
Language
Choose the interface language on the Preferences page: English, Español, or Português (Brasil). The voice guide additionally supports Português (Portugal).
Currency
Prices show in USD ($), EUR (€), or BRL (R$). CueWee detects your currency automatically from your location, and you can change it from the currency selector in the top bar.
Storage
The Storage card shows two different things:
- Cloud storage: how much of your plan's allowance your songs use.
- Audio cache on this device: what CueWee has downloaded here for offline playback. The trash icon clears it, and on the mobile apps the cog icon sets how large it is allowed to grow.
See Offline playback and cache.
Subscription
- Manage Subscription opens the billing page where you can update your card, change plan, or cancel.
- See Plans and usage and How to subscribe to a plan.
Support
Reach us any time from the contact option in the app, or write to contact@cuewee.app.
Delete your account
Our team deletes accounts for you. There is no delete button in the app, so nothing in Preferences or in the avatar menu removes an account.
Ask us from the contact option in the app: say that you want your account deleted, and someone will take care of it in that same conversation. We confirm it is you first, and it is permanent: it removes your account and your data, and it cannot be undone.
Stopping a paid plan is a different thing, and you do that yourself. See Plans and usage.
