Getting Started

Follow these steps to prepare your first CueWee project.

1. Upload your song

  • Drag a stereo audio file (WAV, AIFF, MP3, M4A, FLAC, OGG, AAC - up to 48 kHz / 24-bit)
  • Name the song and pick the target BPM if you already know it
  • Optional: Enable "Live" mode in settings to remove crowd noise from live recordings
  • CueWee will automatically separate your audio into stems

2. Let the AI rebuild the session

  • CueWee separates audio into 6 high-quality stems: vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, and other
  • Automatically generates a tempo map plus click & guide tracks that stay aligned with the grid
  • Click and guide tracks are always generated by default for every song
  • With Pro or Pro Plus, you can extend beyond the 6 stems with additional instrument separation

3. Review and download

  • Solo/mute stems using the demo player to confirm arrangement cues
  • Download ready-made packs:
    • Individual WAV stems (high-quality, lossless)
    • Ableton / Playback App templates
    • Balanced stereo vs. multi-track exports
  • Need tweaks? Re-run separation with alternate focus (vocals, rhythm section, ambience)

🎯 Tip: Keep peaks below -1 dBFS before uploading. Cleaner headroom = better stem extraction.
